Big Pharma Corruption

Mr Fiorello, the head pharmacist for the whole Pennsylvania mental hospital system has just been fined US$27,000 and suspended without pay for accepting a bribe from Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He was given the bribe to go to a conference in Dublin and give a glowing report on the anti-depressant drug Zoloft.

Pfizer of course was not found guilty of anything. Pfizer declared that they were completely satisfied that its working relationship with Fiorello were completely legal and proper. Legal?... just possibly under the current rule of laws which often have little to do with justice. Proper?... hardly.
