Early Entrant for Psychiatric Twit of the Week

This might be a bit premature as, having still two days before the end of the week, I am bound to come up with something dafter in the world of psychiatry... but this is pretty good.

This week's entrant is actually two psychiatrists, Glenn J. Treisman and Andrew F Angelino. They have a written a a book called "The Psychiatry of AIDS: A Guide to Diagnosis and Treatment".

The book proposes that HIV/AIDS is basically a psychiatric epidemic... and that psychiatric disorders lead to an increased risk of HIV as well as worsen the prognosis for the infected individual

No, then again, I don't think I will come up with anything dafter than that in only two days.

He is blamed for endeavoring to get information in a medication preliminary changed and in addition of acquiring a free supply of the psych tranquilize Clozaril for an examination which he consequently then sold for a huge number of pounds. He additionally professed to be a teacher which was false. I think this site is good to acknowledge psychiatric news from a reliable source.
