Pfizer and Zoloft

Pfizer has been taken to task by the Food and Drug Administration for misleadingly advertising the drug Zoloft in The New York Times Magazine in Oct. 2004

What did Pfizer do that was so misleading?

It failed to mention that Zoloft, skillfully marketed as an anti-depressant, can cause side effects such as severe depression and suicide.

Pfizer declined to comment on the matter.
