Roche Sued for Psychotropic Death of Son

Swiss based Roche Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Accutane is being sued by Liam Grant whose son hanged himself after taking the drug. This story does not directly relate to psychiatry as the drug was prescribed by a dermatologist, BUT it could well be a major nail in the coffin of the casual dispensing of mind-numbing, psychotropic drugs that has done so much damage to our society.

This is a huge case and a successful prosecution of Roche will impact heavily throughout the world of Big Pharma and consequently psychiatry. The pretence of psychiatry that it is a profession related to the healing industry are one step closer to being exposed for all to see.

The case which is attracting enormous, world-wide attention starts in Dublin next month.
