Zoloft Legal Cases

An attorney in Los Angeles said that his firm has filed around a dozen Zoloft suicide cases and that he knows of at least a dozen filed by other firms. He also said that there were many other cases pending against other antidepressants.

Robert Brava-Partain said that the cases are all pending in the federal court. In a few prior cases judges have tended to side with the drug companies finding that they were not liable because the F.D.A. had approved the drugs.

That argument is likely to hold less sway in the future given that even the mainstream media have finally picked up on the fact that Big Pharma is regularly 'misrepresenting' the truth about their research. The tide is turning.
